Bringing together 16 experienced musicians from the Lyon region, L’Attracteur Etrange is a variable geometry ensemble formed in 2019.

It plays with the multiplicity of timbres and influences of its performers from major jazz, classical, contemporary, rock and electronic music groups from the region (Toubifri, Marthe, Grand Sbam, Arf, Possibles Quartet, Cie Imperial, ONL, Vodou Game).

At the junction of freely improvised music, with a resolutely current sound and jazz attitude, it oscillates between noise and groove, offering textures of rare richness and influences of tour music that make a universal heart beat.

This taste for the strange, the exceptional, the surprise and of course the extraordinary, invites us with ever greater curiosity to marvel at the possibilities outside the box.

We therefore offer performances that go beyond the traditional concert to extend beyond the stage by engaging the public, an ephemeral partner orchestra, or even to make atypical architectural spaces sound.
